Piping Tools Limited operates Piping.Tools and treats engineering data as mission-critical business and customer information. This privacy policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

- Piping Tools Limited, company number 811151, operates the Piping.Tools business from The Black Church, St. Mary's Place, Dublin 7, Ireland, D07 P4AX.
- Where personal data was collected before the business transfer into Piping Tools Limited, it may continue to be processed by Piping Tools Limited as successor operator of the business for service delivery, support, billing, compliance, and security.

Information We Collect
- Account details such as your name and email. Company details are collected only when you submit a company enquiry or join a company workspace.
- Sales enquiry details you choose to submit, including work contact details, company, role, current workflow, drawing volume, desired outcome, and rollout timing.
- Operational data generated while creating drawings, welding records, and material certificates.
- If you opt in, information about which public pages, campaigns, or ads brought you to Piping.Tools. This does not include activity inside signed-in project or drawing pages.
How We Use Data
- To provide, secure, and improve the Piping.Tools platform.
- To provide service, support, account, and billing communications.
- To assess, respond to, and follow up on enterprise enquiries and measure which acquisition channels result in qualified, retained customers.
- To comply with legal requirements (including GDPR) and respond to lawful requests.
Sharing & Disclosure
- We do not sell personal data. Access is limited to authorised people and service providers who need it to operate the service.
- We use service providers for functions such as hosting, storage, email, payments, security, and optional analytics.
- Sales enquiry and attribution records are limited to authorized platform administrators and contracted processors needed to operate the service.
- If optional Google measurement is enabled with your consent, Google receives limited public-page measurement events and campaign or click identifiers. Signed-in project and drawing activity is excluded.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users.
Your Controls
- Ask for a copy or deletion of project data by contacting support@piping.tools. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, or contractual reasons.
- Request access, corrections, or processing limits for personal data.
- Request erasure or portability, object to certain processing, withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
- Configure role-based access within the admin dashboard to limit internal visibility.
- Allow, decline, or later withdraw optional analytics through the Privacy settings control on public pages. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics disabled.
Security & Retention
- We use encrypted connections, access controls, and protected hosting and storage services to safeguard data.
- We store information only as long as needed to deliver contractual obligations or comply with regulations.
- Consented acquisition attribution is retained for up to 90 days unless a shorter deletion request or legal obligation applies.
- Sales enquiry contact details are reviewed for deletion after 12 months unless an active customer, contract, legal obligation, or requested conversation requires continued retention.
- We maintain incident-response, backup, and recovery procedures and review them as the service changes.
