Frequently asked questions

Can recipients acknowledge without a Piping.Tools account?

Yes. Each recipient gets a unique access link that lets them view the package and acknowledge it without creating an account. The acknowledgment is still tied to their email and timestamped.

Can I re-issue a transmittal when a drawing revs?

You can. Re-issuing creates a new transmittal entry that references the new rev, while the original transmittal stays in history. The status of each is tracked independently.

Does it integrate with the drawings register?

Yes — every transmittal pulls drawings directly from the register and stores back-links so you can navigate between them in either direction.
